We’ll briefly explore the neuroscience behind why this happens in ADHD brains, including the strengths that come with it. Then we’ll focus on a practical strategy you can use to work with your chatty brain, not fight against it.

Sarah Anne Hart is an occupational therapist and founder of Hart and Haven LLC, a neurodiversity-affirming occupational therapy practice supporting teens and adults. As an autistic occupational therapist, they use a collaborative coaching approach to help clients build meaningful routines, access support, and rediscover embodied joy.

Meredith Schultz is a highly regarded ADHD coach with Addjust Course Coaching who specializes in supporting adult women and LGBTQ+ individuals in understanding their ADHD, building practical life skills, and developing adaptive strategies for lasting well-being. With a colorful and unconventional approach that celebrates difference and neurodiversity, she brings warmth, insight, and creativity to every session.

Bailey Massey is a speech-language pathologist and founder of Bailey Massey Global. With over 15 years of experience, she works with neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals using practical, strengths-based communication coaching to improve clarity, confidence, and effectiveness across professional, academic, and real-world communication settings.

Dr. Gabe Casher is a psychologist, father, and founder of Panorama Psychology. He helps families navigate generational change, modern parenthood, technology, and neurodiversity with clarity and connection. His work centers emotional closeness, healthy boundaries, and redefining success for families living in a rapidly changing world.
About the Event
The Next Steps Neurodiversity Expo took place on February 21, 2026, at the Events Center at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Castle Rock, Colorado. This free community event brought together individuals, families, professionals, and advocates to learn about supports, connect with organizations, and celebrate neurodiversity across all ages.
Vendors filled the Events Center with a wide range of services and resources, giving attendees direct access to organizations that enhance daily life and well-being for neurodivergent individuals and their families. Throughout the day, visitors connected with providers offering therapeutic services, educational programs, adult supports, planning services, coaching, and community-based organizations. Attendees discovered new tools, met providers, and learned about supports that strengthen daily life for neurodivergent individuals and their families. Adding to the festive atmosphere, a food truck was on-site to keep attendees fueled throughout the day, and therapy dogs were on hand to offer a warm and calming presence for visitors of all ages.

The Expo featured a series of expert-led presentations held throughout the day, each drawing strong attendance and sparking meaningful conversations. Topics spanned the full arc of neurodivergent life — from parenting and early development to communication, sensory experience, and adult strategies for thriving.

Closing out the day, Meredith Schultz, ADHD Coach at Addjust Course Coaching, presented How to Befriend Your Chatty Cathy Brain, a warm and practical session exploring the neuroscience behind the constantly active ADHD mind and offering a concrete strategy for working with it rather than against it.

With engaging vendor exhibits, four well-attended expert presentations, a food truck on-site, and therapy dogs bringing smiles and calm to the room, participants left with practical tools, strengthened connections, and a deeper understanding of available supports.
